Speaking about what she had to deal with, Thomas, now 67, appeared on the Still Here Hollywood podcast and spoke about her experience.
“I actually did some work after The Fall Guy, I did a lot of movies and then I was just getting so many stalkers. Really bad, really bad,” she explained.
“At least two a week. I had tons of restraining orders. I had two little girls and a guy jumping on the gate with a giant buck knife.”

She explained she once got sent gun bullets and even funeral wreaths people would steal for her.
One time, things got so bad a man got into her bedroom and she shot him with a gun filled with rock salt.
”Mine was scary… really scary. Someone sent me a box of bullets, and people would send me funeral wreaths they stole from a graveyard. There was a lot of psychos,” she said.
“I had one guy one night cut my screen in my bedroom and got in, and I shot him,” she explained.
Speaking about stalking at the time, she said that people would become “fixated”.
“In those days, I don’t know if this is true now, but people would fixate. You could be in a soap commercial, and they would fixate on you,” she said.
About turning her back on fame, she added: “There weren’t a lot of stalker laws, and I just needed to be home anyway.”
