Clooney, once considered one of Hollywood’s most eligible bachelors, found love with Amal later in life.
He previously gushed about her in a Golden Globes speech shortly after their wedding.
“It’s a humbling thing when you find someone to love. Even better if you’ve been waiting your whole life. And when your whole life is 53 years…” he said.
“Amal, whatever alchemy it is that brought us together, I couldn’t be more proud to be your husband.”
Amal also spoke to Vogue about finding Clooney in her mid-30s, saying she wasn’t sure if she’d ever find true love.
