You might not think it, but in a matter of months you’re going to witness a phenomenon in Australia.
Hundreds, if not thousands will descend on the streets wearing suits, ties, aviators and bald caps for one very special reason.
Yep, Pitbull is coming to town.

Mr Worldwide, whose real name is Armando Christian Pérez, 44, has started a movement among fans who attend his concerts dressed exactly like him.
On Thursday morning it was announced the Give Me Anything hitmaker is returning to Australia for the nationwide Fridayz Live tour – which is stacked with big names, including Mariah Carey.
And while Mariah is a huge get, it’s Pitbull that will be bringing vibes like no other.
“This is the best day of my life – Pitbull is coming to Australia,” one fan wrote on social media, while another added: “Buying 7 bald caps now, whose with me?”
“I’m being so serious, this has been my dream for so long – I’m crying,” another wrote.
Pitbull mania swept the UK recently, with tickets to his headline gigs selling out within minutes.
He even referenced the incredible lengths people have gone to to emulate his image at his concerts, saying on-stage: “Now I wanna say a special thank you to everybody who came out with bald caps here tonight.

“It’s amazing to see, and it’s amazing to feel. And I hope when you put on those bald caps you feel just like I do.
“Having a good motherf—ing time every day of my life.”
The tour will go to Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, and Melbourne this October and also feature Wiz Khalifa, Lil Jon, Eve, Tinie Tempah and Jordin Sparks.
It’s hit Brisbane on October 17, Sydney on October 18, Perth on October 24 and Melbourne on October 25.
Sadly for fans, these will be “one night only” events with no sideshows… so no chance of seeing a Pitbull gig alone.

But if Aussie audiences are anything like the rest of the world, we can expect to see a huge takeover across cities – much like the glittery escapades of Taylor Swift fans when she toured Down Under in 2024.
Videos emerged online of fans getting public transport in their Pitbull attire, rapping their way to the gig to see him perform hits such as Timber, Time of Our Lives and Fireball.
Pre-sale for the festival begins on May 26. General sale kicks of June 2.
I’ve ordered five already – Mr Worldwide, it’s time.
