Weeks after revealing their relationship status on Instagram, Liz Hurley and Billy Ray Cyrus have become red carpet official.
The new couple took to the “Orizzonti | Rosso” Exhibition Opening Dinner at the Palazzo Barberini in Rome, Italy on May 24, alongside the actress’ son Damian Hurley.

The actress, 59, stunned in a startling pink gown with a cape trailing behind her as she linked arms with her new beau, 63, who wore a black blazer and pants with his signature cowboy hat and shades, his long hair down.
Damian, 23, looked polished in a red suit with his silky hair blown out as he stood by his mother and her new boyfriend.
The couple also had a chance to take photos, with Liz smiling sweetly at Billy Ray.

The Austin Powers star also posted a snap from the night on her own Instagram account, simply captioning it “Roma”.
In the photo, the actress smiled brightly at the camera as Billy Ray loomed over her shoulder.
Her son commented “Beautiful ♥️” on the picture, but not everyone agreed.

Since announcing their relationship over Easter, the couple have been the target of negative comments and reactions.
One fan wrote, “Seriously Elizabeth, what are you thinking??”
Another shared they were “Quite disappointed.. pretty close to heartbroken.”

The backlash came to a point that the actress herself addressed the comments.
The actress and model found the world’s shock perplexing, telling Page Six, “It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well.

“We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country,” the Bedazzled actress said.
“And we both love country music, both love movies. We’ve got a lot in common – and cowboy boots, definitely.”
