Aussie actor Adam Demos has revealed he’s had his appendix removed.
The 40-year-old Sex/Life star shared a black and white picture with fans and his 1.4million Instagram followers this week, showing himself cheering after getting it removed and in his hospital bed.
“Catch ya appendix, don’t need you anyway,” the actor, who hails from Wollongong, wrote.

The star looked upbeat and in high spirits, despite the procedure.
In the image, he wears a white hospital robe and holds his arm up as he poses.
Demos has had huge success in Hollywood and achieved heartthrob status thanks to roles in the likes of UnREAL and Netflix’s Sex/Life.

He’s also known for the films A Perfect Pairing and Falling Inn Love.

Demos previously told 9honey Celebrity that he’s “very grateful” his Hollywood career is “working out”.
Demos, 38, hails from Wollongong, in the Illawarra region of NSW, and previously worked in construction before hitting the big time.
“I feel very grateful that it’s working out,” he said.
“The first initial dream is just to be able to pay your bills as an actor and to work on what I have, I’m just grateful.
“It’s an interesting business and I count my lucky stars I call it work.”
Talking about when he took his first leap into acting, Demos says the change of careers “scared me in the right ways”.
He was dating his Sex/Life co-star Sarah Shahi, but they have reportedly split after five years of dating.
