Aussie rocker Shannon Noll is celebrating some huge family news this week – he will soon become a grandfather!
The former Australian Idol star, 49, who placed runner-up to Guy Sebastian on the show in 2003, will become a grandfather, with his son Cody Noll, 24, expecting a baby with his partner, Jess.
The young couple shared the joyous news on Instagram on Sunday, sharing a snap of Cody kissing Jess’ baby bump and writing: “Baby Noll <3.”

Little is known about Cody and Jess’ relationship as they have kept things relatively under wraps on social media, but they appear to have been dating since January 2024 when Jess first appeared on his Instagram feed.
In January, Cody also shared a picture of him and Jess on Instagram and captioned it: “Ride or die.”
Shannon is yet to publicly address the family news on his public social media accounts.

The young couple were inundated with messages of congratulations on their announcement post.
Shannon, whose nickname is Nollsie, has four kids with wife Rochelle Ogston: Cody, Blake, Sienna and Colton, with their youngest Colton being six years old.
His son Blake is following in his father’s musical footsteps, and Cody is also believed to be part of a family band.
Nollsie previously told 9honey Celebrity he always wanted his children to follow their own path and do what made them happy.
But he did say he was proud of his son.
“I didn’t want to push them into something that I loved, so I just let them find their own happiness in whatever field they wanted to, and it turns out music has the same effect on Blake as it does on me,” Nollsie said at the time when asked about Blake.

“He’s really, really picking it up quickly and has a nice little voice, and it’s about getting those hours behind the microphone.
“It’s nice to have that thing in common we can enjoy together and watching him come along, is a really proud moment for me, you know.”
