Another layer has just been added to the Beckham family feud.
As whispers of a rift between eldest son Brooklyn and the rest of his family continue to grow, one unexpected player has now shared their side of the story.
Romeo Beckham’s ex-girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, has broken her silence over claims that she was previously romantically involved with Brooklyn, 26.

“I’ve avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it’s come to the point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on,” Turnbull wrote in a post shared to her Instagram story.
“I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative.”
“I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question,” she continued.
“Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16.
“I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation and set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved.”
Romeo seemed to share his own cryptic comment on the situation sharing a still from the movie Roman Holiday with the quote, “What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency”.
“Be nice to people and don’t tell unnecessary lies,” he added.

On June 4, People reported that Romeo and Turnbull had parted ways after dating for seven months.
Just one month prior, the music artist had attended David Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday celebrations, from which Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham were both absent.

Fans online began to speculate as to why both Brooklyn and Nicola were missing, with multiple anonymous sources telling People that it was because of Brooklyn’s alleged prior involvement with Turnbull.
”Brooklyn didn’t want to be in the same room as her, and he told his dad that. But David opted to have Kim there over Nicola,” shared one source.

“Brooklyn and Kim know each other from the past, and his family knows he’s not comfortable around her,” another added.
However, after the rumour mill began to spin, Cruz Beckham took to social media to deny that Brooklyn and Turnbull were ever romantically involved.
Responding to a comment on an Instagram post, Cruz confirmed, “Brooklyn and Kim never dated.”
