Blake Lively is celebrating a big win with her husband Ryan Reynolds.
The actress shared a post to Instagram celebrating the Wrexham AFC soccer team’s recent win on Saturday 26 April in Wales with a special shout out for her husband.
The team defeated Charlton 3-0, ensuring they went up to the Championship League, which is a huge achievement for the club. The win marks their third promotion in as many seasons.

”@wrexham_afc thank you to the entire town, everyone who flew in far and wide, and to everyone on the field and off, from groundskeepers to stewards, gift shop to PT, kit managers to self elected chant writers,” she wrote alongside a carousel of pictures from the sports day.
“History was made yesterday not just with you, but because of you.”
The win and promotion are significant for the celebrity couple as Reynolds is the co-owner of Wrexham alongside It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia creator Rob McElhenney.
Reynolds and McElhenney purchased the team in 2020.

“I’ll always appreciate the warmth and embrace that you give me and my loved ones, in a way usually reserved for family,” Lively continued, addressing the many people involved in the win.
“Your passion and the ferocity of your joy is the magic. Thank you for an unforgettable day. And for being a key part of our lives every day.”
Lively went on to congratulate the Wrexham AFC team, their families and football manager Phil Parkinson, writing: “You show us all that impossible dreams really can come true.”

She then addressed her husband and his co-owner McElhenney as her “favourite ‘crazy ones, misfits, rebels, troublemakers, round pegs in the square holes … ones who see things differently’.
“Thank you for the community and elation you bring me, your families and so many.”

The A Simple Favour actress also took a moment to celebrate the Wrexham women’s soccer team and congratulate them on “another incredible season”.
“We’re so proud of you and grateful to all you do to elevate girls dreams,” she wrote.
“Seeing so many little girls on the pitch last night wearing Wrexham jerseys was one of my highlights.”

Along with her heartfelt caption, Lively posted a series of snaps from the day.
In the first photo, Lively and Reynolds embraced each other in the stands after the win as many gathered on the field behind them. In another, Reynolds hugs McElhenney after their victory. While others show the couple celebrating on the field after the match and posing with the trophy.

Before the win, the couple were spotted watching from the stands at the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, Wales.
As their team won they were up on their feet in cheers and in one moment were photographed kissing each other as they celebrated the major milestone.
