“I can’t stop seeing that spark in Eric’s eye right before he’d say something that would either make you spit out your drink or rethink your entire perspective,” she wrote via Instagram.

She spoke of Dane’s daughters and ex-wife Rebecca, revealed he was the reason behind her iconic pixie cut, and recalled how he called her ‘Milano’, “as if it was the only part of my name that mattered.”

“My heart is with the people who were lucky enough to be his home,” she wrote.

Eight months prior, tributes flowed for Australian actor Julian McMahon, who died aged 56.

Charmed fans would remember McMahon as the very cunning and very charming demon Cole Turner, who went on to marry Phoebe.

The actor “died peacefully” in July 2025 after a private battle with cancer, a date former co-star Brian Krause noted as “a sad day for our Charmed family”.

“Julian was one of the funniest, devilishly handsome and kind souls,” Krause wrote on Instagram.

Holly Marie Combs, who played Piper Halliwell in the series, paid tribute with a touching photo of the cast.

“One of a kind is an understatement. Your unyielding zest for life and crazy making sense of humor will be sorely missed,” she captioned the Instagram post.

While Milano was simply heartbroken over the loss of her “magic” co-star.

“We spent years together on Charmed—years of scenes, stories, and so many in-between moments,” she said in an online tribute.

“Julian was more than my TV husband. He was a dear friend. The kind who checks in. The kind who remembers. The kind who shares. The kind who tells you the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable—but always with love.

“Rest, my friend. I’ll carry your laugh with me. Forever Cole. Forever Julian.”

Shannen Doherty, 2024

One of the original three sisters in the hit series, Shannen Doherty, died in July 2024 after her nine-year battle with breast cancer. She was 53.

Combs said Doherty was her “better half of 31 years”.

“There is a hollow in my chest and I can’t seem to catch my breath. A part of me is missing even though I know exactly what you would say to me right now,” she wrote in part of her post, adding that Doherty was “a fierce fighter til the end”.

McGowan said Doherty “had the heart of a lion,” while Milano shared a statement with People saying she was “someone I deeply respected and was in awe of”.
