Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams has shared an eyebrow raising plane ordeal she had to endure on a recent flight – sparking a debate over the correct plane etiquette.
The American singer, 45, revealed she was sitting in first class when she saw another passenger’s foot encroach into her space.
She shared a picture of the foot, which came under her window near her seat, on Instagram with her more than 1.3million followers.

“I PROMISE YOU BETTA GETCHO FOOT FROM ME!!!! 🚨” Williams began in her post.
“Y’all this is happening neowwwwwwww on my flight and I am crying real tears!!” she hilariously added.
She then shared a video from her Instagram live and updated fans, saying: ”I just want you all to know that I made it, I’m alright.”

She went on to ask fans their advice and said she wouldn’t have minded if the person had socks on their feet.
“Now, I don’t mind if you had your socks on, sometimes you do need to stretch… but for flights you should stretch to make sure you dont get any blood clots and all that stuff,” she said.
“You give people grace… maybe he had to stretch out a little bit… if you would have had on some socks!”

She jokingly added: “I lived to tell the story... what would y’all have done in that situation?”
Underneath the foot picture, Beyonce’s mum Tina Knowles commented that she would have poured a drink on the foot by “accident”.
“I’m so sorry that you have to go through that!” she wrote.
“Accidentally waste some ice cold Coke on him. I bet you he’ll move them then [crying with laughter and love heart emojis]”.
“Oh hell no,” another added under one of her posts.
“Emergency landing!” Jason Kennedy joked.
“I’m spilling water on it,” another follower added.
“Survival of the feetist!” another joked.
One person remarked that at least the passenger’s feet were “clean”.
“Babe at least they were clean,” another said.
“She’s better than me. I would have had to say something to him. Something would have been said,” another commented.
Just three weeks ago, Williams shared a tongue-in-cheek video after she was confused for the Hollywood actress of the same name by a German fan.
The singer, 45, told her 1.3 million followers about the fan mail mishap, explaining a man named Phillip sent her a sweet letter and pictures to sign – but they were of the Dawson’s Creek star Michelle Williams, 44.
“This is great, absolutely phenomenal, absolutely great,” Michelle says in the clip.
“Thank you Phillip, thank you so much,” she said dryly, adding about her fellow star, “Her hair is fabulous.”
