Dua Lipa has been paying tribute to Aussie artists throughout her Australian leg of her Radical Optimism tour, with her Melbourne show last night warranting a special appearance.
The Levitating singer told the crowd at the Aussie show that her next song would be one that changes every night, choosing a song by a different “local artist” to feature. S
he has previously covered AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, Natalie Imbruglia’s Torn, and Kylie Minogue’s Can’t Get You Out of My Head.

“And so tonight, I thought it would be a big mistake if I didn’t play one of my favorite, favorite artists who’s also a friend of mine,” she said, according to Rolling Stone.
The 29-year-old continued, “This is a song I’ve been listening to for a really long time – I mean, 2023 until now – but this is a Saturday night banger, so I think it’s going to be a fun one.”
She then launched into a performance of Rush by Aussie singer Troye Sivan, but that was not the only surprise.

The artist himself then made a surprise entrance during the song, with no introduction needed from his fellow singer.
The pair continued with a performance of their unreleased collaboration, a remix of Lipa’s hit Physical.
But that was not the end of the surprises, with the duo hopping down from the stage with a bright pink USB in hand, looking for a fan they could trust with their new track.

However, they weren’t looking for someone to safe-keep it – they were looking for a fan who was guaranteed to leak it.
The Argylle actress went around the crowd asking one, “Are you gonna leak it? Can we trust you to leak it?”
Another fan appealed to the singer, telling her and the rest of the crowd when the singer held the microphone up to the fan’s mouth that she had been there for 24 hours camping overnight.
Hearing this the singer handed the flash drive over to the fan, trusting her to leak the new track.
It seems the track has been leaked by the new owner of the flash drive on X, formerly Twitter in this post at 1:27 am.
