Eddie Murphy has revealed that his son Eric has married Martin Lawrence’s daughter Jasmin in a secret ceremony.
The Beverly Hills Cop star shared the news on Thursday during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.
“They got married like two weeks ago,” Murphy told his former Dreamgirls co-star, as they reunited for the first time in 18-years.

“They went off … everybody was making the big wedding the plans and then they decided they wanted to do something quiet, just the two of them.”
The Shrek actor, 64, also joked about the economic relief that the elopement provided to Lawrence, 60.
“Yeah, we’re in-laws,” Murphy said.
“He don’t have to pay for the big wedding now.”

While the Lawrences might be relieved at not having to stump up the cash for a big do, fans will no doubt be disappointed there aren’t hilarious father of the bride and groom speeches to hear about.
Though, not all hope is lost, with Murphy telling Hudson they plan to have a celebration of some kind for the nuptials.
“They went off and they got married at the church,” the actor said about not being there on his son’s big day.
“They just had the two of them and the preacher. They had a quiet little thing. So I think we’ll have a big party or something.”
Murphy, who sang with Hudson in Dreamgirls, and also had a hit single in 1984 with Party All The Time, was asked by the TV host if he’ll be performing at the couple’s wedding party.
“No, I ain’t singing … Martin will sing at the wedding. Yeah, that’d be funny … a duet, maybe,” he said with a laugh.
Eric, 35, and Jasmin, 29, announced their engagement in November after four years together, sharing a video to social media of the romantic moment.
“God truly blessed us with a love that feels like destiny,” Jasmin wrote.
“We couldn’t be more excited for this next chapter. Special thank you to everyone who made this moment so beautiful!!”
But the youngsters didn’t meet through their dads, Jasmine revealed it was her uncle who introduced her to Eric.
