Aussie model Erin McNaught and her partner Stace Cadet have revealed their nine-month-old son‘s devastating diagnosis.
Taking to Instagram, the record producer – who’s real name is Stasi Kotaras – and the 42-year-old TV personality shared details of what their son, Obi Brooks Kotaras, was going through.
“For the last few weeks we have noticed a rapid decline in Obi’s behaviour and happiness. He was having problems eating, sleeping and most recently, keeping his head straight,” he shared.

“Late on Tuesday, as a precaution we took our little man in for an MRI under instruction from our Doctor.
“At about 6:00pm Tuesday night we met with a neurosurgeon who broke the heartbreaking news that Obi has a large brain tumour on the right side of his brain.
“We are absolutely shattered and the last few days have been our hardest days.”
Along with the statement, they shared a photo of the bub lying in a hospital bed, his MRI scan showing the tumour, and a shot of him resting on his dad’s shoulder on the hospital rooftop.

The couple thanked the staff at Queensland Children’s Hospital, sharing that they “remain hopeful that we can remove the mass and get Obi healthy and happy, pending the results.
“We have a long and difficult road ahead us but are so lucky to have our family and friends’ support at this time and we’re keeping focused on getting our little boy back.”
The post garnered many well wishes from friends and family, including the Former Miss Universe Australia’s ex-husband, record producer Example.

The musician, with whom she shares sons Evander, seven, and Ennio, five, shared a message of strength: “You got this ❤️🏆”.
Aussie tennis player Dylan Alcott shared, “Big love team. Obi will be a fighter like his parents.”
Sexologist Chantelle Otten added, “Oh my heart just dropped. Sending love and strength.”

The couple welcomed their first child together last October, sharing the news of his arrival in an Instagram post.
Accompanying a black-and-white photo of McNaught and the newborn, the new dad posted the caption, “Welcome home ‘Mr. Obi Brooks Kotaras’. We can’t believe how perfect you are and both feel so overwhelmed with pure joy.”
