Models Gigi and Bella Hadid have introduced an “unexpected” addition to their family.
Gigi, 30, and Bella, 28, released a bombshell statement on Thursday confirming they have a secret half-sister Aydan, 23, who the world previously never know of.
The statement revealed Nix was a result of their father Mohamed Hadid’s “brief romance” with a woman named Terri Hatfield Dull – which came after Mohamed, 76, and Yolanda Hadid divorced in 2001.

“Over 20 years ago, our dad, while single, had a brief relationship that led to a pregnancy,” the pair said in a statement to the Daily Mail.
“Aydan was born and raised in Florida, growing up with the man she lovingly knew as her father until his sudden passing when she was 19.
“After his passing, she decided to take a genetic test out of curiosity, and that’s how she discovered a biological connection to us.”
The duo said they first connected with Aydan in late 2023, and embraced her “with open arms”.

“She’s spent time with all of us, including our dad, and we’ve cherished this unexpected and beautiful addition to our family,” the statement continued.
They also said they wanted to respect their sibling’s privacy going forward.

“As siblings, we’ve had many open and loving conversations – with Aydan included – about how to support and protect her,” Gigi and Bella continued.
“Aydan and her family value their privacy, and we fully respect that. We kindly ask others to do the same and honor her wish and right to her anonymity as she continues her life as a young woman in New York.”

Mohamed shares Gigi, Bella and son, Anwar Hadid, 25, with his ex-wife, Yolanda.
He also shares daughters Marielle, 44 and Alana, 41, with his first wife Mary Butler.
Bella and Gigi are one of the most recognisable model duos in the world, often sharing photos on social media of their various campaigns and life updates.
They’re yet to share any photos with Aydan.
Gigi has hit headlines multiple times in recent months after going “Instagram official” with her partner of two years, Hollywood star Bradley Cooper.
The model took to her Instagram account to post highlights from her 30th birthday celebration, and after a copious amount of scrolling, fans found a picture of the couple kissing in front of her cake.
She also shares a daughter, Khai, with her ex-partner and One Direction star Zayn Malik.
