Back in 2023, one of the biggest pieces of celebrity gossip revolved around the rumours Anyone But You co-stars Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney were romantically involved.
At the time, Sweeney was engaged to Jonathan Davino, however with rumours now circulating that the couple have split, fans are ready to once again link the actress to her former co-star.
The two were spotted together at Powell’s sister’s wedding in Texas over the weekend, but now a source very close to the Twisters actor has shut down any rumours of a rekindled romance.

“They’re definitely not together,” Glen’s mum Cyndy Powell said in a new interview with the Daily Mail.
Cyndy said “Sydney is a friend” of her son’s, explaining that their friendship has also brought Sweeney closer to the family and she has become “really close” with Glen’s sister Leslie in particular.

“They’ve been friends for so long. They’ve known each other for so long and they’ve both been single and together and with other people,” she added.
Sweeney herself has not confirmed her split from Davies, however she has posted several images on Instagram with her engagement ring seemingly absent.

Sources reportedly close to Sweeney have also spoken with publications, confirming the split.
A source told People Sweeney is focusing on her career, with her relationship and wedding simply overwhelming her.

”She didn’t feel right about it,” they claimed.
“She’s not ready to settle down. They only lasted for this long because it was hard for her to break it off.
“They didn’t split because there is no love. They split because she just wants to focus on her career right now.”
