Halle Berry has praised her Crime 101 co-star Chris Hemsworth for standing up for her on set of their new film.
During a joint red carpet interview with E! News as they promoted the film, Berry, 58, called the Aussie star “one of my new favourite people in the whole wide world” after he “stood up for a woman”.
“[He’s] a stand-up guy,” the actress told the outlet as she stood next to the Thor star, 41.

“I won’t go into it now, but he stood up for me in a moment in our movie, and instantly I knew right then I’m gonna follow this guy, be a fan of this guy for the rest of my life because he stood up for a woman,” she explained.
“He didn’t have to do it and he did it.”
Hemsworth added he was “very intimidated” to work with the Catwoman star and said: ”I’ve admired Halle’s work for many, many years.”

Their new film Crime 101 also stars the likes of Pedro Pascal, Barry Keoghan and Nick Nolte, according to IMDb, and centres on the story of a jewel thief and a detective.

It’s due to be released later this year.
It comes after the Aussie star revealed he regrets asking Billie Eilish for a selfie while at the Oscars, but said he did it for his kids.
Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he said: “And then the moment I took it, I was like ‘I went from work colleague to now like a fan.'”
He added: “We will never be friends, never be best friends.”
