James Brolin and Barbra Streisand have one of the most rock-solid relationships in Hollywood, with their romance spanning almost three decades.
The actor, 84, whose real name is Craig Kenneth Bruderlin, has shared the secret to their almost-30-year relationship this week during an TV interview on US Today show.
Brolin, who married the singer in 1998, explained learning when to take a walk is one key to success in a relationship.

But he also said that being close to one another during the most mundane parts of your day is also important.
“You learn to take a walk, both of us, not just me,” he began.
“I just think you gotta say, ‘Ok, take a deep breath, take a walk.'”

And in what seemed like a cheeky comment at first, the Westworld star added that investing in a good mattress also helps.
“It’s just great. The best investment we’ve ever made is our mattress,” he added.

“And don’t misunderstand me. We’re both lazy. We love to sleep late. We do a lot of our work on the phone, on paper, reading, right next to each other.”

In July 2020, A Star is Born actress Streisand marked their 24th anniversary, writing: “There’s no one I’d rather be locked up with than you honey.”
“Can’t believe it’s been 24 years together! Happy anniversary. ❤️”
The singer was previously married to actor Elliott Gould but they split in 1969.
She met the handsome Brolin in 1996 – after being set up – and they tied the knot two years later in July 1998 at the singer’s $100 million Malibu estate.
“He told me he knew right away,” she said about her husband during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
She told W Magazine in 2016: “My husband [James Brolin] and I were set up on a blind date.”
“I met him at a dinner and expected a bearded mountain-man type, and he had cut off all his hair and was clean-shaven. I asked him, ‘Who screwed up your hair?’
“He later told me that’s when he fell in love with me.”
