2003’s live action remake of Peter Pan starred Jeremy Sumpter as the boy who never grows up, along with Harry Potter star Jason Isaacs and Rachel Hurd-Wood.
The fantasy film captivated young audiences when it was released – as did Sumpter, who became a popular childhood crush – and is now a cult classic.
Now, the former child star, 36, has made some comments on the film during a rare TV appearance on Today Extra – and you might be surprised to see how he looks now!

Sumpter reflected on working on the film, which was shot on the Gold Coast all those years ago, and said he appreciates how much it means to so many people.
“Looking back, I wouldn’t change a thing. That movie has touched so many souls,” he told Today Extra hosts David Campbell and Sylvia Jeffreys during a cross from Nashville.
“It’s given people hope, and people who go through the ringer… or who are having a hard time, it’s the movie they watch.

“For every generation, it hits home. The movie never really grows old.”
Sumpter added that he remembers his time on set in Australia and would wake up and go for a surf every day before filming.

He added that even though he played the boy who never grow up, he was 13 years old at the time of filming and actually “grew 11 inches” on set.
The former child star is now married to Elizabeth Treadway and is a father to daughter Lucy, two, who sweetly made a cameo appearance during the TV interview.

When he married Treadway in a ceremony in Tennessee, he told People: “I got to marry the love of my life with all of my closest friends and family there to watch.
“It was absolutely perfect!”
