Scarlett Johansson gave her Jurassic World: Rebirth co-star Jonathan Bailey another smooch on the lips as she arrived at the film’s New York premiere.
The married actress’ same move at the movie’s London premiere raised eyebrows but the openly gay actor addressed the smooch in an interview on the red carpet.
“I believe in being able to show the love in all different ways,” Bailey told Entertainment Tonight when asked about the kiss.

“And if you can’t kiss your friends … life’s too short not to,” he added.
Johansson’s husband Colin Jost was also at the premiere. Bailey is also in a relationship but has not disclosed who his other half is.
The Bridgerton star gushed over working with Johansson, who he labelled “endlessly hilarious, sensitive, intelligent”, as well as two-time Oscar winner Mahershala Ali, who he called an “icon”.
The actor also talked about another little-known secondary cameo he makes in the film – a clarinet solo in his character’s theme music.

“That was the highlight of my career,” he told the outlet.
The 37-year-old described it as “serendipitous” and “full circle” because he got his first, plastic, clarinet at the age of five – around the same time he watched Jurassic Park for the first time.
Bailey isn’t the only fan of the original film series in the franchise.
Johansson grew up a big fan of the dinosaur movies, having seen the original at the age of eight, back in 1993, as the child star was about to make her own big screen debut in the star-studded 1994 movie North.
The actress pitched herself to franchise creator Steven Spielberg when she first caught wind of Rebirth being in the pipeline.
“I’ve been trying to get into a Jurassic movie for, I don’t know, 15 years or something,” she told The Hollywood Reporter at Cannes in May.
“I was so stoked that it all came together.”

Jurassic World: Rebirth picks up five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion but is considered to be a standalone movie and not a sequel.
It’s directed by British filmmaker Gareth Edwards, the man behind Rogue One and Godzilla.
