Tiana thought she was in the clear when she bunked off studying for her English exam the next day to go to a Katy Perry concert – until she got called up on stage, at least.
The Aussie schoolgirl and her friends Elie, Nour, and Perla spent last night on stage with the singer herself during her Lifetimes tour in Sydney.
After Tiana confessed she wasn’t preparing for her English exam to the Fireworks singer, she did something incredible.

Perry grabbed Tiana’s phone and recorded a message for her teacher for all to hear.
“Hi Miss Eunice, it’s Katy Perry,” she introduced herself before explaining, “I’m with Tiana.
“I know she’s about to take this exam for English and we just wanna say that we might be a little bit tired because we were on the stage last night. So if you could just be a little kind, this is an exception.

“Please Miss Eunice, have some kindness for us,” the superstar begged before handing back the phone.
It turns out Miss Eunice was more than kind, with Tiana missing the exam altogether to appear on the Today show this morning.
She and her friends appeared wearing the concert gear to share more about the incredible experience.

Elie explained that he was the mastermind behind getting the tickets, roping his friends in and making all of their costumes and signs.
It was their fanfare that caught the superstar’s eye, with Perry reading their signs before the four were invited up to the stage.
Elie recalled, ”In the moment [I was in] a state of shock… I was trying to pinch myself. I didn’t like what was going on.”

Tiana said when they got on stage, the Dark Horse singer asked where they went to school.
”She was just talking with us, we were giving her our names. And then I mentioned that I have an English exam tomorrow that I’m actually supposed to be studying for, but instead I’m here supporting Katy Perry.”
It was then the singer took her phone and recorded the message to her teacher, with Tiana shrugging, “I get to skip my exam because Katy Perry said so.”
She then gave a shoutout to her teacher, saying “Thank you Miss Eunice”, on national TV.
