Elizabeth Hurley has opened up about her new romance with Billy Ray Cyrus.
The star couple surprised us all two weeks ago after Hurley hard-launched their relationship by posting a photo of the pair enjoying their Easter together in Cyrus’ native Tennessee.
The actress and model found the world’s shock perplexing, telling Page Six, “It’s not surprising to me because we’re actually quite similar and get on extremely well.

“We both like to laugh a lot, and we both love the country,” the Bedazzled actress said.
“And we both love country music, both love movies. We’ve got a lot in common – and cowboy boots, definitely.”
Cyrus, on his part, recently revealed the romance was sparked in the aftermath of his divorce from Aussie singer Firerose in late 2024.

Hurley had reached out to Cyrus with a text message, writing to him, “Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough and just wanted you to know I’m in your corner; you’ve got a friend in your corner,” Cyrus recalled on The Ty Bentli Show.
“Of all the people to reach out to me in that second that maybe I needed most… this friend who made me laugh,” he said.

Hurley shared the first image of herself and the country music star on April 20, with Cyrus sporting green bunny ears for Easter as he planted a kiss on the actress’ cheek.
The 59-year-old continued to share snaps from her ”Tennessee Weekend” with her new beau, riding in an off-road vehicle into the sunset and kissing while walking in the countryside.

It’s not the first time the Austin Powers star has addressed her new relationship. She also hinted towards the fan reaction to her relationship with the 63-year-old in a snap she shared on Instagram.
Sharing photos from her trip to the Maldives weeks prior, she made mention of the extreme reaction with, “Well…it’s been a helluva few weeks since my glorious sojourn in the Maldives, but here are some of my happy memories.”
