Martha Stewart is a superstar of the culinary world thanks to her myriad of cookbooks and TV shows.
But there’s one thing she’s never done when it comes to food: ordered delivery.
During an appearance on Kelly Clarkson‘s talk show, Stewart, 83, divulged her unlikely “secret” that left the superstar host in disbelief.

While on The Kelly Clarkson Show, Stewart spoke about dining out at restaurants while filming Yes, Chef! in Toronto, prompting Clarkson to quip: “And I go, do they deliver?”
“Do you want to know a secret? I have never ordered in,” Stewart admitted, despite having starred in an Uber Eats commercial for the Super Bowl earlier in the year.
The surprising confession left the A-list talk show host visibly shocked.

“Are you kidding me?” Clarkson exclaimed.
Stewart doubled down that her daughter Alexis Stewart would “vouch” for her.

“You’ve never been like, ‘It’s a Taco Bell night. We’re just doing it?'” Clarkson continued to question, to which Stewart confirmed she’s “never ordered in”.
“I will go out or I will not eat,” Stewart explained.

That’s when her Yes, Chef! co-host José Andrés chimed in, telling the star to “prove it.”
“People of America, if you have a photo of Martha Stewart ordering in, we want to see it!” he said. “We demand an investigation!”

“That’s insane!” Clarkson told Stewart. “I’m so proud of you. You’re so pure.”
Earlier this month, it was announced Stewart would be heading to Australia in May for a special In Conversation With Martha Stewart event at Sydney’s Vivid.

The star spoke to 9Honey Celebrity ahead of her trip Down Under, sharing she’s “looking forward to eating good food”.
“I love the food Down Under!” she said. 
“The last trip we had the best food in Sydney and elsewhere, just delicious, delicious food.”
Stewart added: ”Whatever is there, I’m going to partake in!”
