Miley Cyrus has revealed that she landed in the ICU after coming down with a “brutal infection”.
In a new interview with Jimmy Kimmel, the Flowers singer revealed that she ended up in intensive care last year after filming a clip for her Something Beautiful visual album, which saw her rolling around on the floor of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“I filmed this video in October and by November at Thanksgiving I was put in ICU,” she revealed.

”My leg began to disintegrate within someway around the kneecap area,” she described.
“And then the doctor goes, ‘Do you have any idea why you would have such a brutal infection on your kneecap?’.”
Cyrus revealed she immediately recalled performing on the ground of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“And I had to tell him and to have a surgeon look at you and say, ‘yuck’,” she said as the crowd burst into laughter.
“Like they open up cadavers, they see inside the guts of humans and they’re looking at me, telling me I’m disgusting.
“And they do brain operations.”

Kimmel revealed he was wondering if her team had had the footpath steam cleaned before the filming took place to which Cyrus revealed, “absolutely not… none of that”.
”You know, with this movie I had a big dream and a small budget,” she said before clarifying that she “had a pretty good budget but I spent it all on my clothes”.
“When it came time to go to the Walk of Fame,” Cyrus continues, her team asked her, “what are you going to do? Are you going to rent this thing cause it’s really out of your price range”.

In response, she said, “No, we’ll just go in the middle of the night” – a decision she came to regret.
“Have you been to the Walk of Fame at Night,” she asked Kimmel in shock. “I thought it was my last day,” she continued to joke.
After revealing the story of her infection, Cyrus reflected on her immediate regret sharing the story.
“I wanted this video to be so fabulous and now I’ve just told everyone such a filthy story,” she said.

Kimmel jokingly reassured Cyrus that she revealed the “sacrifice” and “nearly gave her life for this film”.
Earlier Cyrus clarified that while she was admitted to the ICU it was “just for a moment” and “mostly because it was Thanksgiving and there were a lot of people in the ER (Emergency Room)”.
