The premise of the film will follow the formation of KISS, known for their signature face paint and tracks like I Was Made for Lovin’ You and Rock and Roll All Nite.
The biopic is expected to go into production at the end of this year or in early 2026.
Joseph McGinty Nichol, known better as McG, is set to direct.
McG is known for Charlie’s Angels, Terminator Salvation and shows like Supernatural.
Casting for Gene Simmons is reportedly underway.
KISS bandmates Stanley and Simmons and the band’s longtime manager Don McGhee are all reportedly producers on the film, among others.
Nick is best known for being in a band of his own – the Jonas Brothers.
The singer, alongside his brother Joe and Kevin Jonas, formed the group in 2005.
They had hits like Burnin’ Up and Year 3000 and starred in the Camp Rock movies and their own Disney Channel show before disbanding in 2013.
Nick then went on to release a self-titled solo album which included his successful hits Chains and Jealous.
