It’s often pretty difficult for celebrities to shock us these days, with all the wild things we’ve seen over the years – but Sydney Sweeney may have just done it.
The Anyone But You actress recently starred in in a body wash ad for natural soap company Dr. Squatch, in which she sat in a bathtub promoting the products.
Watch the video above.
As they tend to do, creeps in the comments all asked the same unsettling question – how do they get their hands on a cup of Sweeney’s bathwater?
Gross, we know.

While some may choose to ignore the weird and objectifying comments, Sweeney instead saw it as an opportunity to make money off of those desperate enough to be begging for her bathwater.
So, like the queen she is, the actress has done what most would say was the unexpected next move.
“You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad… so we kept it,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.
“Introducing Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss! A very real, very limited-edition soap made with my actual bathwater.”
If you’re a bit confused, let us spell this out very clearly for you – Sydney Sweeney is selling bars of soap made from her “actual bathwater”.

It’s not entirely clear if the soap will have a scent aside from “bathwater”; since the product isn’t yet available online, all we know at the moment is what we can see from the image posted by Sweeney.
The packaging features a cartoon image of the actress among an interesting backdrop of aquatic statues and mountains.
It also states the soap is a limited edition release, and where it seems most other bar soaps sold by the brand have their key ingredient or scent listed, all that is written in that same spot on Sweeney’s soap is, “Sydney’s bath water”.
The comments on the star’s Instagram post all go one of two ways – those who are excited about the launch, and those who are disgusted.
“We need to look at ourselves in the mirror,” one person wrote, while another echoed, “Imagine being down bad enough to buy this.”
But there were also those who unashamedly shared their excitement.
“Thanks, I’ll take 100,” said one commenter.

“This is edible, right?” added another.
”When your fans start asking for your bathwater, you can either ignore it, or turn it into a bar of Dr. Squatch soap,” Sweeney said in a statement, as per Glamour.
“It’s weird in the best way, and I love that we created something that’s not just unforgettable, it actually smells incredible and delivers like every other Dr. Squatch product I love.
“Hopefully, this helps guys wake up to the realities of conventional personal care products and pushes them towards natural.”
