Tina Arena is sticking to her guns in concert after previously warning fans about mobile phone use.
The songstress, who is performing around Australia on her successful Don’t Ask… Again tour, got a laugh from the crowd as she grabbed one fan’s phone mid-song.
“Pick it up after the show,” the 57-year-old said as she performed her hit single Chains.

It’s not the first time the singer’s done this, especially to those in the front row.
On this occasion, the fan was seen taking photos from the left before stepping forward, walking in front of other patrons and standing against the stage to seemingly record a video.
Arena clocked it straight away and was swift to react, with others dancing in the front row throwing their arms up in celebration (or possibly shock).
Self-proclaimed “Tina Arena superfan” Shane Carr first shared the footage, believed to be from Tuesday night’s Brisbane show, on social media.

“Don’t forget to put your phone down,” he captioned the 15-second clip.
Arena reposted it on her own social media in yet another warning to fans to sit back and enjoy the show.
They can’t say they haven’t been warned before.
Arena previously mentioned her request to fans in a 2021 interview, as she got ready to perform again after COVID-19 lockdowns with her Enchanté tour.

“I’ve always been very vocal at my shows about being in the moment rather than filming on your shitty camera phones,” she told the Herald Sun before her tour with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra.
“Seriously, if this pandemic has taught us anything surely it’s to be in the present moment and enjoy it for what it is.”
Now, the former Young Talent Time performer is marking the 30th anniversary of her 1994 smash hit album Don’t Ask.
The tour made headlines earlier this month after the no-nonsense singer asked one concertgoer to leave when they started a brawl in the audience of her Melbourne show.
“Darling, you need to leave the show,” Arena said, calmly but firmly, to the situation unfolding inside the Palais Theatre in St Kilda.
The singer was applauded for how she handled the incident, which she said was unlike anything she’d seen in her 50-year career.
It came a day after Arena raised eyebrows for berating concertgoers for taking a toilet break during her performance.
