Usher cancelled tour: Usher cancels all Australian tour dates months after announcing his first gigs Down Under in over a decade

Just a few months after Usher announced his first Australian tour in more than a decade, the singer’s Aussie shows have been cancelled.

Australian ticketholders were contacted by Ticketek via email with the announcement that all local dates for the Past Present Future tour will no longer be taking place.

“The promoter of Usher’s Australian tour regrets to advise that the scheduled November/December shows will no longer be proceeding,” the statement read.

“All purchased tickets will receive a full refund.

“Tickets will be refunded in full (including refundable ticket purchase, if relevant) to the original payment method used for purchase and patrons do not need to take any action.”

The statement advised that refunds should be expected “within 30 business days” and specifically instructed ticketholders not to contact Ticketek regarding refunds.

The singer first announced he would be bringing the Past Present Future tour Down Under at the beginning of March, revealing the news with a post on Instagram.

“I’m bringing the A to the AUS!! Australia, my Past Present Future tour is coming your way,” he said.

The tour was set to mark Usher’s first performance in Australia in 14 years.

However, it seems fans will no have to wait even longer with the artist specifically cancelling shows, rather than postponing.

The multi platinum, eight-time Grammy Award-winning artist was set to perform songs from his 30-year career, including hits such as Yeah! and U Got It Bad, alongside tracks from his latest album COMING HOME, released earlier this year.

He began the hugely successful Past Present Future Tour in Washington D.C. in August 2024, and has since played shows across the US, Europe and the UK.

The setlist reportedly contains a whopping 47 songs.

At the time of publishing, there is no explanation as to why the Australian tour dates have been cancelled and Usher and his team are yet to release a statement.
